Can you do the Junior Einsteins Science Club ™ camp outside on a sunny day?

YES! We go outside as much as possible, experiments and weather allowing.

Some of our equipment is delicate and valuable so must be set up indoors. Our electricity experiments work best in a slightly darkened room . But we always do as much as we can outside ( you will be happy to hear!)

How many children attend  a Junior Einsteins Science Club ™ Camp?

The number of children in our camps depends on the size of a location.

Our larger venues accommodate a maximum of 30 children some camps have as few as 10 children.

Children are separated into ATOMS : 6-8 years and MOLECULES 9-11 years but will be in the same room together for most experiments and tasks

If siblings, cousins or friends want to be in a group together, just tell us on the morning. We can be flexible 🙂

Our ratio of science instructors to children is 10;1

How do you manage to engage so many  children with science all day/week???

Our science instructors are experienced in making science lots of fun! Children quickly become engaged and very interested! We keep the experiments moving along at a steady pace and cater the science facts to the appropriate age group.

Do you provide Lab coats and goggles for all children attending the Junior Einsteins Science Club ™ camp?

Yes! They look adorable 😊

What do children make/take home?

Yes, children get to make and take home various items in science camp. All of the children get to make and take home their own slime , fossils, rainbow glasses, compass, praxinascope ( your child will teach you what this is!) Rocket, mini smoke cannon, ocean in a bottle and more……

My child has special needs. Is a science campstill suitable?

We are not specifically trained in the care of special needs children. But we are kind, patient and very understanding. If your chid requires an SNA in school we recommend that you send an SNA with your child to science camp.

My child has a fear of slimy things. Is a science camp still suitable ?

We are not specifically trained in the area of phobias. We are led by the parent in this case and take specific instructions from the parent. We can have your child do a different activity if there is one that causes them stress.

My child has allergies. Is a science camp still suitable?

At Junior Einsteins camps we do our best to follow parents  instructions about their child’s allergies or medical conditions. As we hire public/ community venues ensuring these locations are nut free is  difficult. We do however take sensible precautions to ensure all children’s safety.
